Biography
V. Mike Channel, Ph.D., is a patent engineer and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Dr. Channel has substantial working, research, and teaching experience in digital signal processing, speech analysis and enhancement, adaptive Wiener filtering, filterbank design and analysis, digital and analog control systems such as target tracking, vehicle sensing and vehicle braking systems, digital and analog communication systems including signal compression techniques such as CDMA, Huffman coding, Viterbi, and MPEG, digital electronic design, neural networks, fuzzy logic applications, wavelets, and numerical analysis. He has worked with microprocessor/controller/signal processors platforms such as Motorola 68000 series, Intel 8051 series, Intel 8080, Intel 8086, Motorola 56000 Series DSP processors, and other Intel and Motorola embedded controllers. He has also assisted in projects with the FBI, Hughes Network, and some banking industries in the areas of signal and speech analysis, and pattern analysis.
